We've been married almost 14 years and we feel very lucky to be able to work together documenting other couples in love. (We also like cake).
Being a husband and wife team gives us the advantage of being able to effectively communicate ( sometimes telepathically) so that we both deliver amazing photos, but from different angles, and perspectives.

If you are looking for husband and wife wedding photographers to capture the real moments and the real you, we would love to sit down and chat. Coffee and cupcakes not required... (but lets be honest... they sure sound great)

Frequently Asked Questions

When will we get our images?

We love to post a few sneak peeks the same night or early the next morning (depending on our time we arrive home). The week after the wedding we usually have a blog post up which has more photos as well as our overview of the wedding day. Within 30 days your full gallery will be complete. Josh likes to call this the teaser, the trailer and the feature film! :)

can we remove the engagement session for credit?

The engagement session is complimentary and has no monetary value in the collection, so removing it would not alter the price. We LOVE doing these sessions as it is a chance for us to hang out and get to know you more, while you get to know our style! Then there is no day of weirdness! ;)

Have you shot at our venue?

There are thousands of venues in California and there is a chance we might have, but also maybe not. We always walk the venue 30 days prior to the wedding even if we have shot there, because every wedding is unique. If we haven't, then that is the perfect opportunity for us to get to know the area and see the perfect photo spots. Not having shot somewhere doesn't mean we won't deliver the same amazing experience / photos as any other wedding.

can i give you a list of photos

We ask that couples provide us a family formals shot list, to help make family photo time go quickly and smoothly. We do not take any other photo lists, as we believe you are hiring us for our creativity and spontaneity. We do however, love looking at your Pinterest boards, that does help with inspiration as to what looks you may gravitative towards.

Sample Timeline

2:00pm - arrival and getting ready shots
2:30pm - details of gown, shoes, etc.
3:00pm - getting into gown
3:15pm - first look / romantics
4:00pm - bridal party photos (immediate family, if possible)
4:40pm - relax before ceremony
5:00pm - ceremony
5:30pm - ceremony end
5:45pm - family photos (bridal party and additional romantics, if needed)
6:45pm - grand entrance into first dance
7:00pm - dinner / toasts
8:00pm - cake cutting / parent dances / bouquet toss
8:45pm - open dancing
10:00pm - we check in and leave

Engagement Session Tips

We love engagement sessions because not only is it a chance for us to get some casual photos of the both of you, but it gives us a chance to get to know each other and break that first awkwardness of having a camera around.

While we have our favorite spots that we have done engagement sessions, we want you to choose a place that has meaning to you. It can be your first date spot, the beach, a special hiking trail, Disneyland, or you can even fly us anywhere you wish. :) The main thing is we want you to enjoy the photo session and have it be in a place that you love.

We get asked what to wear and we want you to feel and look awesome. We typically recommend 1-2 outfits depending on the location. We try to veer away from the matching khakis and white shirt or denim and black shirt style... mix it up!

Depending on your style casual jeans and a cute top, a summer dress, or skirt. Accessories are always good! Have pets? If you are comfortable to bring them and they behave, then feel free to bring them. Want to grab cupcakes or stop at In-n-Out because it has meaning... Bring it on! We want these photos to reflect who you are!

We only take a limited number of weddings per year. We do this, so we can focus not only on the experience we give our couples, but to maintain a work/life balance.

$1000 non-refundable retainer due at time of booking.
Balance due 30 days prior to wedding. All pricing is subject to applicable sales tax and is subject to change at any time.

We are a husband and wife team, with 13 years of experience. Together we have shot over 150 weddings. Married almost 15 years, that is some good luck!

These are presented in an online gallery, so you can download and print as well as share with family and friends. Cloud storage included for up to 10 years as well as a print release for your convenience.
